Our Story
Rapha Healing was founded by Bernadette and Trevor, a couple whose shared faith and passion for helping others inspired them to create a safe and compassionate space for healing. With extensive experience across counselling, social care, trauma support, and addiction recovery, they bring both professional knowledge and heartfelt care to their work, supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and move toward restoration and hope.

The Heart Behind
Rapha Healing
Rapha Healing grew from a shared calling we both felt to support individuals and families facing trauma, addiction, and emotional challenges. Through many years working across social care, counselling, and community services, we witnessed first‑hand the deep impact that trauma can have on people’s lives. At the same time, we also saw the incredible resilience people can show when they are given the right support, understanding, and care.
Over time, we realised that by bringing together our combined experience and shared values, we could create a space where professional expertise meets genuine compassion. Rapha Healing was created to be that space — somewhere people can feel safe, heard, and supported as they begin their journey toward healing and restoration.
The name Rapha, meaning “to restore” or “to heal,” reflects our belief that even in life’s most difficult circumstances, growth, reconnection, and renewal are possible when people are supported with empathy, patience, and hope.
Whenever you feel ready, we are here to listen, support, and walk alongside you as you move toward healing and renewal.
